Hello every one. This is the first day of Gamisfaction in Wayra, or the second one. The truth is that this is the second one because yesterday Jose Vicente was sick. Then we will the 1st-2nd day.
We will be recodrding a video every day to tell you the great experience of being in Wayra, what we do in here because we want you feel that experience as yours.
Last monday we arrive to Barcelona and we move to a flat in teh area of ‘Rambla’ of ‘Poble now’ and we expend whole day with paper work. Yesterday we saw the Wayra office and we installed the computers but because it was the first day and Jose Vicente was sick it wasn’t a very productive day.
Fortunately today was a very productive day and we worked from 9:00 until 22:00. Luis has been looking to do a Steve Jobs’ week: It is about working 90 hours or more in a week. So far we have started well.
We offer a shirt that says “I work 90 hours at week because I want” to anyone who wants to spend a week working here with us.
Moreover today we have solved a performance problem with MySQL. We have summarized in a single query a process that was tooking about a minute to process it, now it nneds 3.5 seconds.
Also today we were given our brand new access card for the building of telefonica, with the logo of Wayra, we are already seated!
Somebody have turned off the lights! So this is all for today.
